Our center is a fifty year old sourdough starter, kept alive with daily attention. Around it come vegetables raised in the sun, sturdy grains, and yogurt from small Mediterranean dairies. These are calm ingredients with a sense of place.

We choose patience over theater. What reaches your bowl tastes like a kitchen. Soup was our first act. The pantry is our next, with comfort foods shaped by the same thoughtful method.
